We’re pretty spoilt for new amenities here at The Junction. In recent months we’ve welcomed news of a new local school and a huge new sporting precinct. Now we can look forward to the recently completed Cranbourne West Community Hub.

Just ten minutes from The Junction, this state-of-the-art dual level community facility has a range of flexible spaces for community members to connect, learn and play.

On the ground floor is a large 220m2 hall, two mid-sized halls, a commercial kitchen, a large space that opens onto a central courtyard, change rooms and more.

The upper level offers three meeting suites, a dedicated wellbeing space, a 70m2 multipurpose space and a range of breakout areas and dedicated amenities.

Starting Tuesday 9 February the local council will be hosting several free activities at the new hub, including:

• ‘Coffee n Chat’ sessions, 10am Tuesdays and 2pm Fridays.
• Connect Kids playgroup sessions for kids under five, 1.30-3pm Tuesdays.
• Story Time sessions for families with kids aged two to five, 9.30-10am Mondays.

Yoga, dance, fitness programs, coding and robotics workshops for kids, and cultural networking groups will all be rolled out in the next few weeks.

Also, local businesses, community groups and individuals will be able to hire space within the hub for celebrations, work or outreach services. Get in touch (details are below) to check availability.
